  • Our team is looking for creative summer interns who are excited to learn and work with destinations on all phases of project design, from concept design through construction documents, including construction administration. Applicants should possess a thirst for learning, a love of a team-based environment, and a particular interest in designing alluring destinations, including theme parks, zoos, aquariums, museums, and resorts.

    Summer Internship Job Description

    St Louis & Orlando Studios

    • Integrate with a project team(s) during the approximate 3 month duration.
    • Under the direct supervision and in partnership with a licensed architect engage in various daily tasks related to the practice of architecture in a varied experience such as:
      • Concept Design and programming
      • Schematic Design and program layout
      • Design Development of project components and integration of multi discipline coordination
      • Construction Document detailing
    • Participate in weekly Lunch & Learn meetings in order to gain product and assembly specific education
    • Participate in studio quality control reviews
    • Exposure to a multidisciplinary studio setting where cross-discipline learning is encouraged
    • Exposure to multiple market sectors related to the scopes of work and business practices of PGAV Destinations
    • Utilize various software such as:
      • Revit, Adobe Suite, MS Office suite, hand drawing, physical modeling, digital modeling, digital rendering, bluebeam, Teams, etc.
