Designer / Illustrator

PGAV is seeking a talented designer / illustrator to create immersive environments at all scales, from overall concept through detail development. This creative artist will work with project teams on new product development and concept design.

Education and Experience

Bachelor degree in Art, Architecture, Industrial Design, or similar design-related fields

Environmental Graphic Designer

PGAV is seeking a highly creative, experienced environmental graphic designer to work with the design and illustration of environmental graphics for immersive and thematic environments. The candidate should have exceptional graphic design skills in addition to an understanding of the design process from conception through implementation.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, architecture, industrial design, or related field

3-5+ years of experience in environmental graphic design or related field

Skills

Ability to concept and sketch ideas by hand

Strategic, hard-working, creative, conceptual, and a problem-solver

Proficient in Adobe CC Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, CadTools, FileMaker Pro, and Microsoft Office Suite

3D rendering, Revit, and/or Cad experience preferred

Excellent understanding of architectural scales and drawings with the ability to interpret and manage the shop drawing process

Ability to work on a number of complex projects with defined budgets and schedules

Exhibit Designer

PGAV is seeking a highly creative, experienced exhibit designer to develop engaging attraction spaces from initial concept development through final product and revisions. The candidate can expect to design, coordinate, and integrate exhibits, graphics, media, and other three-dimensional concepts into guest-centric, brand-promoting environments. PGAV Destinations Exhibit Designers are responsible for managing projects from start to finish, within determined schedules and budgets, including concepting, computer modeling, producing final renderings and construction documents, and final presentations to clients.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in exhibit design, industrial design, product design, environmental design, architecture, scenic design or technical theater, or related field

3-5+ years of experience in exhibit design or related field.

Skills

Strategic, hard-working, creative, conceptual, and a problem-solver

Ability to work on a number of complex projects with defined budgets and schedules

Experience with client and vendor contact

Must be able to prepare sketches, drawings, specifications, and models for planning purposes, fabrication, and presentations

Knowledge of materials, fabrication techniques and construction processes, with attention to durability and functionality.

Knowledge and understanding of principles of universal design, and experience designing effectively beyond ADA minimums.

Interior Designer

PGAV Destinations is seeking a talented Interior Designer to develop all phases of engaging attraction design from planning/concept through construction administration. PGAV Interior Designers create guest-centric, immersive environments that enhance the visitor experience while clearly reflecting the client’s brand. The ideal candidate has the ability to clearly communicate ideas both visually and verbally within the design team as well as to the client. Additionally, designers develop innovative interior architectural design concepts that tell stories while being durable, aesthetic, safe, and conducive to intended purpose and function and are within project budget and schedule. In order to execute successful design, a mastery of drawing preparations from concept through construction documents, product resource organization, and knowledge of CAD documentation are key components of the role. Responsibilities also include the selection, presentation and documentation of materials, finishes, color palettes, furniture, fabrics, and lighting fixtures.

Applicants should possess a love of a team-based environment, and a particular interest in designing alluring destinations, including theme parks, zoos, aquariums, museums, and resorts.

Education and Experience

Bachelor of Science or Art in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture or related field

1-5 years of experience in interior design or related field, recent graduates w/ robust internship experience will be considered
