    PGAV is looking for a HR Manager who will work in our St. Louis office. This non-remote position will work closely with the Benefits Manager and other Senior Leadership and Principals.

    Background

    • This role offers the opportunity to lead and influence the full scope of human resources strategy and operations. The Human Resources Manager plays a critical role in partnering with leadership to support PGAV business objectives, shape workplace culture, and drive continuous improvement across people-related initiatives. This position provides meaningful exposure to leadership development, workforce planning, and talent development, while also incorporating impact, autonomy, and professional growth.
    • Although expected to be a hands-on position, the Human Resources Manager is responsible for directing the daily human resources activities and overseeing all HR functions at PGAV headquarters and for all location(s). This role serves as a strategic partner to leadership, providing guidance and support on all people-related matters while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Leading and overseeing all human resources functions, including recruitment, selection, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compensation, training, and talent development
    • Partnering with leadership to align HR initiatives with business objectives and workforce needs
    • Build relationships with business leaders by providing support and guidance to enhance team performance and organizational culture
    • Developing, implementing, and delivering HR and leadership training programs, including compliance, conflict resolution, communication, and leadership development
    • Supporting workforce planning initiatives, including internship and training programs in collaboration with universities and training providers
    • Assist in talent management activities, including supporting succession planning and staffing efforts to enhance workforce productivity
    • Administering performance management processes, including evaluations and merit increase programs
    • Help implement HR strategies and practices, ensuring effective communication and engagement with employees
    • Assist in the development and delivery of training programs that enhance employee skills and promote a positive workplace culture
    • Support the analysis of HR metrics to identify trends and provide recommendations for improvement
    • Preparing, updating, and maintaining job descriptions, policies, procedures, and employee handbooks
    • Conducting employee investigations, documenting findings, and implementing appropriate actions
    • Developing and managing HR budgets, tracking expenditures, and ensuring accountability
    • Representing management in hearings, audits, investigations, and community relations activities as needed
    • Quarterly travel to other domestic offices
    • Participating in site-specific committees and cross-functional initiatives
    • Identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing solutions to enhance HR effectiveness
    • Performing additional responsibilities as needed to support organizational objectives

    Education, Certifications and Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Management, or a related field
    • Eight (8) or more years of progressive human resources experience, including leadership responsibilities
    • Strong knowledge of HR best practices across employee relations, talent management, and compliance
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
    • Expertise with Paylocity HRIS
    • HR certification (HRCI or SHRM) strongly preferred

    Position:

    PGAV is seeking a Front Desk Hospitality Specialist – someone with a desire to be part of a team that provides unparalleled hospitality to all that enter PGAV’s offices. The specialist is responsible for managing a broad range of administrative, hospitality, and facilities tasks to ensure the office runs smoothly and professionally. This role supports day-to-day logistics, event planning, and vendor coordination and is often the first point of contact for employees, clients, and guests. Required attributes and skills include the following:

    Requirements:

    • 2+ years of experience in office coordination, administration, or hospitality support
    • Strong interpersonal, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills; a reliable team player
    • Highly organized, with strong multitasking abilities and the capacity to prioritize a dynamic workload
    • Detail-oriented and proactive in identifying and resolving issues
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
    • Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information
    • Adaptable to interruptions and ad hoc requests in a fast-paced environment
    • Comfortable working in an open office setting
    • Able to meet physical demands of the role, including lifting, bending, and reaching

    Responsibilities:

    Hospitality & Office Operations

    • Provide the highest level of hospitality to staff, clients, and guests
    • Greet visitors and team members with warmth and professionalism
    • Manage front desk operations: phones, emails, packages, and check-ins
    • Coordinate hospitality needs—meeting setups, catering, beverages, events
    • Maintain common areas (reception, kitchen, meeting rooms) to be clean, stocked, and presentable
    • Own the flow of the day—anticipate needs and ensure smooth operations
    • Support calendars, travel coordination, and supply management
    • Assist with internal events and client visits
    • Provide light administrative and scheduling support to key team members

    Mail, Supplies & Facility Support

    • Receive, sort, and distribute mail and packages
    • Coordinate courier and FedEx shipments; manage office supply inventory
    • Stock printer stations and studio materials; organize supply drawers
    • Submit maintenance and janitorial requests as needed
    • Keep workroom and shared spaces tidy and organized

    Kitchen & Hospitality

    • Prepare coffee daily; replenish kitchen and lobby supplies
    • Load and unload dishwashers throughout the day
    • Receive and organize weekly grocery deliveries
    • Perform scheduled restocks and monthly appliance/refrigerator cleaning
    • Submit monthly hospitality receipts for reconciliation

    Event & Vendor Coordination

    • Plan and manage onsite and offsite events (logistics, catering, setup, cleanup)
    • Decorate and prepare the office for holidays and special events
    • Place orders using platforms like ezCater, Instacart, Walmart, Amazon, and Shipt
    • Serve as the point of contact for vendors and service providers

    Library Management

    • Catalog and classify materials in the internal library
    • Maintain organization and accessibility for staff use

    St Louis & Orlando Studios

    • Integrate with a project team(s) during the approximate 3 month duration.
    • Under the direct supervision and in partnership with a licensed architect engage in various daily tasks related to the practice of architecture in a varied experience such as:
      • Concept Design and programming
      • Schematic Design and program layout
      • Design Development of project components and integration of multi discipline coordination
      • Construction Document detailing
    • Participate in weekly Lunch & Learn meetings in order to gain product and assembly specific education
    • Participate in studio quality control reviews
