We’re looking for an Architect who is self-motivated, highly creative, and grounded in the technical side of architecture. You must be a quick learner, a strong collaborator, and someone who thrives in a studio environment where multiple projects are always in motion. You’ll work closely with Project Leaders and Project Managers to move between assignments and contribute across all phases of design, from concept through construction documentation and construction administration.

What You’ll Do

  • Help bring theme parks, zoos, aquariums, museums, and other destinations to life through design.
  • Contribute to documentation from schematic design through construction documentation, including construction administration.
  • Present and communicate design ideas to clients and project teams.
  • Collaborate with consultants to coordinate detailed design conditions.
  • Take ownership of project assignments, exercising sound judgment and problem-solving to advance work independently.
  • Guide small project teams through design development, documentation, and construction administration while maintaining project quality and schedule objectives.
  • Translate project goals, guest experiences, and operational requirements into creative and buildable design solutions.
  • Develop architectural drawings, models, presentations, and technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with architects, designers, planners, consultants, and clients to advance project design and delivery.
  • Participate in site visits, design workshops, and project coordination meetings.
  • Contribute to the development of architectural details, building systems integration, and code-compliant design solutions.
  • Support construction administration activities, helping ensure design intent is carried through implementation.
  • Balance multiple project assignments while maintaining design quality and meeting deadlines.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited college or university.
  • Licensure required.
  • 3-6 years of experience in an architectural or design firm.
  • Excellent hand and digital sketching skills.
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite and 3D modeling software such as Rhino, SketchUp, or 3ds Max.
  • Understanding of architectural building systems, construction methods, ADA requirements, and building codes, with the ability to perform code analysis.
  • Strong verbal, written, and graphic communication skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
