Piccolo Buco by Luca Issa | Cooper’s Hawk
The original Piccolo Buco is a famed pizzeria in Rome, just steps away from the Trevi Fountain. PGAV was tasked with designing a restaurant that blended its cozy feel with the Cooper’s Hawk brand. In order to establish brand standards for the expansion of future U.S. locations, PGAV created and documented a wide range of unique brand attributes for Piccolo Buco.

Inside the restaurant, elevated materials underscore the high quality of the ingredients and the pride in the traditional process, with bright wall tile, warm woods, and pops of olive branch green and brass accents.

An iconic bar features a Gusti wine-tasting experience, surrounded by murals celebrating the brand’s Italian moxie. Unique ingredients frame a view into the open kitchen with an Italian pizza oven.
