PGAV Destinations led the Comprehensive Interpretive Plan for The Alamo, guiding interpretive, site, and architectural design for a new Museum and Visitor Center. Collaborating with multiple stakeholders, PGAV facilitated an evidence-based design process and extensive public engagement, resulting in a new vision for the Alamo’s future.

Monticello

Charlottesville | VA

PGAV Destinations worked with the Thomas Jefferson Foundation to develop strategies for improving visitor navigation, enhancing site interpretation, reimagining exhibitions, and reinterpreting programs at Monticello. The goal was to enhance the visitor experience by incorporating the inclusive storytelling of all Monticello’s inhabitants and creating a more cohesive and engaging experience across the historic site.

Fort Ticonderoga

PGAV led the Comprehensive Plan for Fort Ticonderoga, ensuring sustainable growth, market alignment, and mission-driven development. Through site analysis and stakeholder engagement, PGAV identified core themes to enhance the guest experience, guiding new visitor offerings and a strategic plan focused on preservation, interpretation, marketing, and funding.

Niagara Falls

PGAV developed a phased master plan for Ontario’s Niagara Parks Commission to create engaging interpretive experiences throughout Queen Victoria Park and the surrounding areas. Using multi-sensory design and diverse learning styles, PGAV designed exhibit experiences that inspire a deeper appreciation for the natural wonder of Niagara Falls.

PGAV led the master planning and design for the Cincinnati Museum Center, home to the Museum of Natural History and Science and the Cincinnati History Museum. The plan leverages the iconic Union Terminal train shed, reimagining exhibits to highlight regional science and history through hands-on experiences, cutting-edge research, and authentic storytelling.
