Goose Island Taproom
This Chicago-perfect taproom features eight taps with a rotation of seasonal brews exclusive to the Fulton Street location. The centerpiece is a long, U-shaped bar celebrating Goose Island’s Chicago roots. Locally crafted furniture, a flag-inspired tile bar front made from recycled Chicago manufacturing materials, hand-crafted artwork, and a live-edge wood countertop reclaimed from local trees contribute to the space’s distinctive character. A garage door opens to the street, connecting the taproom to the city.

Custom elements, such as the metal ribbon ceiling feature etched with an old Chicago street map and a wooden sculpture wall showcasing the locations of local ingredients, tell the brewery’s story in striking, artistic ways. A retail nook with handmade wood shelving displays apparel, while home brewing exhibits spark deeper conversations with staff about the art of brewing.

Each area is enhanced with custom hand-painted graphics and wayfinding to guide the experience.
A thoughtfully designed tour route allows small, intimate groups to explore the brewery, with stops at the Tap Deck, bottling lines, brewing tanks, the Matilda Room, and the Barrel Aging Warehouse. The Goose Island Bus takes their immersive tasting experience on the road and meets consumers where they are, at festivals and pop-ups around the city.
